Believe in Yourself
What is the most powerful thing that can help us heal?
Belief.
When we believe, we create possibilities. We don’t hope, since that is a lofty wish. Instead, we believe, generating a feeling of certainty, a felt perception often accompanied by positive visualization. When we align with this energy of belief, we begin to create what is to come into our lives.
The same applies to writing. If you believe you can write a book, then you can. If you don’t, the chances are you won’t. Simple, right? Yes, it’s simple to conceive, but not necessarily easy to achieve.
How Do We Cultivate this Belief?
As writers, we get the opportunity to contribute something deeply personal and meaningful to the world. However, the writing journey is riddled with endless questions, twists, turns, and what can seem like dead ends.
Here’s the key: All writing comes from a powerful place inside you. You are living your own hero’s journey and have everything you need within you to write. And, in the same way, you have the power to create your best life.
Consider this: The outside—external pieces of life—will never happen the way you want them to, but the inside—your inner terrain—can. You can choose how you show up. The first step is believing in your abilities, your imagination, and your intuition to guide you as you embark on any writing venture.
Writing is an extraordinary, transformative, and illuminating experience. It can be healing, energizing, and a lot of fun! If you have a desire to write, take that leap into the unknown and believe in yourself. With this jump comes joy and a magical freedom that can align you with your deepest passions and fuel your writing aspirations.
Believe in yourself. I am ready to believe in you too!
Wishing you happy writing,
