Article in the UCSD Alumni Triton Magazine
My alma mater, UCSD, recently published an article I wrote called, Reaching New Heights, in their 2018 winter issue of their alumni magazine called, Triton. The premise of the article is about how my world travels led to discovering the world inside.
In the article, I quote the French novelist Marcel Proust in saying, "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new lands but in seeing with new eyes." It took me years of world travel and health challenges that almost killed me to understand what he meant.
I get it now.
