Reach Out & Read San Diego is a program of the local chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has helped doctors throughout the county give out nearly one million books to pre-school aged children. At this event, one lucky child will receive the MILLIONTH book.
This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids and come have some fun. The kids can read with a doctor, play games, enjoy crafts. There will be free books for all children in attendance!
I will be there representing local authors, signing books for the adults, and of course, enjoying meeting the kids and sharing my devotion for reading and writing. Who knows, maybe I'll inspire some kids to become future writers!
