San Diego Writers Festival

100 Speakers - 45 Events - 1 Day

The FREE sixth annual festival is on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Coronado Public Library and Performing Arts Complex.

If you are a creator, writer, or lover of stories or books - this day is for YOU! It's a day of music, community, workshops, and inspiration.

The festival was founded in 2018 as a community-building event dedicated to offering world-class programming that is free and accessible to all. The theme for this year is Be The Change: How Writing and Publishing Can Transform the World.

Even though the day is FREE, registration helps us greatly.

Registration is not required, but it is appreciated. While you’re welcome to drop in, registering in advance helps us plan for seating, materials, and refreshments.
